What We Do

We are the trusted advisors to nonprofit leaders who want to turn change into opportunity.

Vision

We create clarity of direction so leaders, teams, and stakeholders can align around shared purpose and priorities.

People

We build the culture, connections, and learning mindset that help individuals and teams do their best work.

Process

We design systems and routines that create consistency, accountability, and space for continuous improvement.

Tools

We put practical tools to work, from CRMs and donor databases to dashboards and AI, adopted ethically and sustainably, so work is easier and decisions are smarter.

Financials

We strengthen fundraising, financial health, and resilience by improving how organizations diversify, manage, and use resources.

Services

What we help with

Most engagements start with one of these and grow from there.

How We Work

Personal and practical, guided by a few simple principles.

Working with Two Five One is personal and practical. We'll get to know your organization, your people, and your goals deeply, while keeping the objective clarity that comes from being one step removed. That combination of empathy and perspective lets us see both what's working and what's possible.

  1. Relationships are everything

Every organization is, at its core, a collection of people. The health of their relationships, between staff, board, funders, and partners, determines how well the whole system functions.

  2. It's your organization

Our role is to help you thrive, building the clarity, capacity, and confidence for your team to lead its own progress.

  3. Interplay

Progress doesn't happen in silos. The opportunity lies in the connections between teams, practices, and priorities, strengthening the way they work together.

  4. Capacity building

We aim to leave teams stronger than we found them, with the structures, skills, and habits to sustain growth long after our engagement ends.

  5. Compounding effects

Small improvements add up. When we move several parts forward at once, the gains multiply and create momentum that lasts.

  6. Learning mindset

We approach every engagement as shared learning. Together we uncover insights, test ideas, and build the capability to keep adapting over time.

Why We Do It

When your organization is delivering to the best of its ability, it feels like everything is in flow. But when change comes, momentum is lost and potential is left unfulfilled.

Communication is smooth, decisions are made, and action happens. Then change occurs, people and processes slow down, and the system that once moved as one starts to drag.

Tactical fixes are rarely effective. You need to step back and see your whole system at play. Then you can work through it to shift the levers with the most potential for momentum and impact to return.

Step back and see your whole system at play.

Doing this from within is difficult, because you are too close to objectively identify the issues, see the path, and make the decisions needed to move forward.

With extensive experience across the nonprofit and corporate sectors, we take a systemic approach to unlocking, connecting, and deploying those resources to have the greatest impact possible.

This is why we created 251.
